For the second consecutive year, Kevin Iwamoto, Lanyon VP of Industry Strategy, is recognized as one of the Top 25 Most Influential People in the Meetings Industry for his work on the next generation of Strategic Meetings Management


Dallas, TX – August 12, 2014 ─ For the second consecutive year, Successful Meetings Magazine has named Kevin Iwamoto, Vice President of Industry Strategy for Lanyon, as one of the Top 25 Most Influential People in the Meetings Industry.  Mr. Iwamoto is recognized on the annual list of Top 25 impact players for his important contributions in helping define best practices, improving processes, and making advancements in the meetings industry.

Mr. Iwamoto is a highly regarded and the original thought leader in the field of Strategic Meetings Management (SMM). He actively supports the Meetings Professionals International (MPI) Foundation’s SMM next generation initiative and is a leader in bringing SMM to Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific.

Meetings, events and travel software company Lanyon has hired Dirk Wakeham as its president and chief operating officer.
Wakeham joins Dallas-based Lanyon from RealPage Inc. (Nasdaq: RP), a rental housing software business headquartered in Carrollton. During his five years as president of RealPage, Wakeham lead the company through an initial public offering and grew revenue to more than $300 million.
