American Express surveyed clients and buyers worldwide, and the results are reflected in their latest forecast for the global meetings and events industry. Interestingly enough, their results are similar to a recent forecast released by Carlson Meetings and Events.
According to American Express Meetings & Events, 2015 meeting budgets are likely to show positive movement _ either through growth or less of a decline than was seen previously. They attribute this to powerful drivers such as compliance, global expansion, and standardized processes that help to reduce risk and elevate the visibility and strategic importance of meetings programs within companies.
