Meetings Professional International’s annual World Education Congress is taking place in Atlantic City, New Jersey this year. Meeting and event professionals in attendance are going to gain world-class education and networking opportunities.
But let’s get right to it – while networking and education are important and the selling points of an event, micro-events, or the smaller activities within the larger event, are important, too.
So we compiled a quick list of the “micro-events” at MPI that we wouldn’t miss for the world – and you shouldn’t, either. (P.S. Check out MPI WEC’s full list of “micro-events” here)
Opening Night Celebration
Kick off your shoes, take a walk in the sand and enjoy the water – MPI WEC’s opening night celebration is going to take place just steps from the Atlantic Ocean. You can expect tons of great food, unlimited opportunities for networking, and free rides at the world-famous Steel Pier amusement park.
Do you like good music? Then you’ll love MPI WEC’s micro-event, Rendezvous. Train – that’s right, the Grammy Award-winning band – is performing at WAV, a lavish indoor nightclub on Atlantic City’s waterfront that’s basically built for hosting concerts. We’re uber-excited to sing all of the words to “Hey Soul Sister” with our fellow event planners.
Featuring dozens of exhibitors (including Lanyon!), you’ll be able to find plenty of new business opportunities when you walk through MarketSquare. While you’re filling out your personal agenda, be sure to schedule a meeting with us.
