A special announcement from ACTIVE Network Business Solutions – reported by Rebecca Yetzer, Content Marketer at ACTIVE Network.

We are thrilled to announce our new ACTIVE Network SMART EVENTSTM Cloud, the only cloud-based enterprise event management platform to power the smallest meeting to the largest conference. The SMART EVENTS Cloud software will be delivered in four phases over the upcoming year, with the first phase going live in November 2013. Check out the 90-second video!

In Phase 1, we’ll begin by rolling out new Event Marketing (ACTIVE ConferenceTM ) and Strategic Meetings Management (ACTIVE StarCiteTM ) technologies. Here are the highlights of these key enhancements…

New Intuitive User Interface and Enhanced Dashboard

Managing events, controlling meeting spend and engaging attendees is easier than ever in the SMART EVENTS Cloud. With a new, intuitive user interface and navigation, users will be able to manage all their meetings and events within the flow of an event cycle. And an enriched account and events dashboard for corporate meetings, large conferences, and event marketing, widens visibility to view one or more events and get an instant view of detailed information.

Enhanced ACTIVE Conference-to-Go and ACTIVE Conference Lead Management

ACTIVE Conference-to-Go treats users to an off-the-shelf, configurable conference management solution for setting up, promoting and managing large conferences more easily.

Boosted Lead Management tools mean capturing leads is more efficient for exhibitors/sponsors. Sales prospects can be acquired and managed during events with real-time mobile badge scanning using QR Code, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), and Near Field Communication (NFC) technologies.

NEW ACTIVE StarCite Small Meetings 2.0, RFP Tools & Location-Based Search

The new ACTIVE StarCite Small Meetings 2.0 makes creating and sourcing small meetings easier than ever with full visibility into those types of meetings from a single solution.

Find, select, and compare venues for meetings and events in just five steps with the new Request for Proposal (RFP) Wizard. And with an enhanced calendar view, users can quickly add and edit sessions.

Introducing a new Location-Based Venue Search, that allows event planners to view hotels and venues within the sourcing tool. Options are visually plotted on a map based on the desired event location.

The progressive enhancements and new features within our cloud-based technology will enable customers to make better-informed decisions and truly measure the ROI across all meeting and events. We look forward to hearing your feedback in November! In the meantime, please feel free to leave us any questions below.
