Meetings, events and travel software developers Lanyon – which has offices in Singapore – held its first customer conference in Dallas, Texas, with a roster of speakers that included representatives from Cisco, IHG, Uber, Salesforce and GSK.
Sessions at Lanyon Live also saw panel discussions. Topics included best practices and thought leadership with speakers from Uber, Experient and Salesforce discussing the sharing economy, and how the industry is responding to new opportunities brought about by Uber and Airbnb.
The October 26-28 event also saw Lanyon announce the release of its Smart Events Cloud solution to enhance the efficiency of planning and executing of meetings and events. The release also includes an enhanced registration and marketing tool that makes it easier to promote events and increase attendance.
Users can also improve attendee engagement through mobile by using one-on-one meeting requests and displaying the number of unanswered surveys on the home page icon to increase completions. The release also contains a simplified badge builder that makes it easier and faster to design and print badges onsite.
