Formed in 2009 to keep telling the story about meetings—that they create personal connections, drive positive business outcomes, and build strong communities—the Meetings Mean Business coalition recently announced a change in leadership and an addition to its board of directors.
MMB also recently announced that Lanyon is the newest member of its board of directors and the first meetings software company to join. Dominguez said this is the right time to add a software company, with its ability to provide planners with critical data and analysis. “As pressure remains to show value in meetings, the need for software and the data it can provide to demonstrate the measurable returns becomes all the more important,” he said. “Lanyon is positioned to provide a unique perspective of how companies of all sizes can leverage software to save money and time, as well as demonstrate growth from their meetings, events, and travel programs. This intelligence will assist MMB in its mission to define the value of meetings and events.”
